چکیده

In the context of the Müller-Israel-Stewart second order phenomeno-logical theory for dissipative fluids, we analyze the effects of thermal conduction and viscosity in a relativistic fluid, just after its departure from hydrostatic equilibrium, on a time scale of the order of relaxation times. Stability and causality conditions are contrasted with conditions for which the " effective inertial mass " vanishes.

Dynamical Ensemble Equivalence between hydrodynamic dissipa-tive equations and suitable time-reversible dynamical systems has been investigated in a class of dynamical systems for turbulence. The reversible dynamics is obtained from the original dissipative equations by imposing a global constraint. We find that, by increasing the input energy, the system changes from an equilibrium state to a ...

We study the non-equilibrium dynamics of domain walls in real time for φ 4 and Sine Gordon models in 1 + 1 dimensions in the dilute regime. The equation of motion for the collective coordinate is obtained by integrating out the meson excitations around the domain wall to one-loop order and the non-equilibrium relaxation is studied analytically and numerically. The constant friction coefficient ...

The Jackiw-Teitelboim gauge formulation of the 1+1 dimensional gravity allows us to relate different gauge fixing conditions with integrable hierarchies of evolution equations. We show that the equations for the Zweibein fields can be written as a pair of time reversed evolution equations of the reaction-diffusion type, admitting dissipative solutions. The spectral parameter for the related Lax...
